Two Westmeath women, Frances McGonigle and Anne Rigney, will open their upcoming exhibition in the Dean Crowe Theatre and Arts Centre on Friday September 19 at 7.30pm. The exhibition is titled Two but not 2 and will feature a mixed media collection of paintings and prints.

It has been a busy week as Westmeath has provided a splendid backdrop for the FAI’s six-day Festival of Football with the association’s AGM scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday July 26.

The graduate design show at Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) was officially opened last Friday evening May 23 by renowned illustrator David Rooney.
